A: A compact, high‑efficiency scuba regulator system that pairs Zeagle’s RaZor first stage and Envoy second stage for smooth breathing performance — ideal for primary use, pony bottles, or redundant air systems.
A: It includes a RaZor first stage with integrated cylinder valve and a pneumatically balanced Envoy second stage with a 36″ hose and a fill adapter for standard yoke fills.
A: The RaZor first stage uses a flow‑by piston design and threads directly into standard 3/4‑14 NPSM scuba cylinders, saving space and weight — perfect where compact gear and redundancy matter most.
A: The Envoy second stage features a pneumatically balanced downstream demand valve with Venturi control for smooth, easy breathing and reduced free‑flow tendencies on the surface or underwater.
A: Yes — the Envoy/RaZor II set is factory ready for Nitrox up to 40% O₂ right out of the box.
A: The system is lightweight (approx. ~2.04 lbs / 925 g) with marine‑grade brass and high‑quality polymers for durability in diving environments.
A: Ideal for recreational divers, technical divers using stage/pony bottles, and anyone seeking a space‑efficient, reliable breath delivery system with quality performance.
Rinse the first and second stages with fresh water after use to remove salt, sand and chlorine. Avoid fully submerging the regulator and don’t depress the purge during rinsing to prevent water entering low‑pressure internal parts.
After rinsing, shake or gently blow out excess water from the second stage before drying.
Drying & Storage
Allow the regulator to air dry in a cool, shaded area with the mouthpiece/hose free of water buildup.
Store in a padded bag or case, away from direct sunlight, heat and humidity, and never under pressure (disconnect from tank).
Inspect Components
Periodically inspect hoses, O‑rings, connections and mouthpiece for cracks, wear or kinks; replace worn parts promptly.
Listen for air leaks by attaching the regulator to a tank and monitoring for hissing.
Lubrication
Apply silicone‑based lubricant sparingly to O‑rings on both stages and hose connections; avoid petroleum‑based products that can damage rubber.
