Maintenance Tips
  • Rinse the first and second stages with fresh water to remove salt, sand and debris; keep the dust cap on the first stage to protect internal parts. Avoid pressing the purge button while rinsing to prevent water entering internal passages.

Soak Periodically

  • After saltwater diving, soak the regulator (cap on) in warm fresh water for several minutes to dissolve salt crystals, then rinse again.

Dry & Store Properly

  • Air‑dry completely in a cool, shaded, well‑ventilated area before storing in a padded bag or case. Keep away from direct sunlight, heat and chemicals.

Inspect Before Use

  • Check hoses, O‑rings, mouthpiece and connections for cracks, wear or leaks before every dive. Conduct a pre‑dive check with the regulator pressurized and listen for hissing.

Check for Leaks & Function

  • Before each dive, mount the regulator to the tank and slowly open the valve to verify there are no air leaks and breathing is smooth through both stages.

Annual Professional Service

  • Have the regulator serviced by a certified technician at least every 2 years or per manufacturer guidance to maintain performance and warranty. This includes inspection, internal cleaning and seal replacement.
