Maintenance Tips
-
Clean washer monthly: Run an empty cycle with hot water + vinegar or washer cleaner to remove detergent residue and odors.
-
Avoid overloading: The 4.0 cu. ft. capacity handles large loads, but overfilling reduces cleaning performance and strains the agitator.
-
Use proper detergent amount: Excess detergent causes buildup and poor rinsing—especially in Cold Plus cycles.
-
Wipe lid & drum: Keep the stainless steel basket and lid clean and dry to prevent mold and mildew.
-
Check hoses regularly: Inspect water inlet hoses for leaks or cracks and replace every few years to prevent water damage.
-
Level the washer: Ensure it sits evenly using adjustable legs to reduce vibration and noise during spin cycles.
